I`m with Francis, you need to do with your calf what works for you. I also have raised calves both ways and I think dairy calves in general are tamer. You are going to mess with this calf alot what ever you do, so I don`t think that they are going to be wild. The only way they are going to be wild is if you turn her out to pasture and don`t look at her all summer and then round her up and bring her in to milk her. The only heifers we ever had trouble with were some we bought one year, they were a real rodeo, but they turned out ok in the end. > Thanks Marc
