they are beautiful, look like our charolais. Just bigger wouldnt want to get one mad. As far as cross breeding you do get big calves our steers average 785 at 6 months when we sold them this fall and they are taken straight off the cow and on the truck no grain just mom's milk and grass. Love the varieties of colors we get from white to a mousy grey

The sweet thing about Chianina cattle is you get 65% of the body weight in meat when processed, And for some strange reason they have small calves,go figure that one. Those cattle are on my animals to buy list

I was made aware of this thread just yesterday. I had been in the hospital for a few weeks and did not have access to the internet.

The man in the photo is 5' 8", the bull stands right around 8' tall when his head is raised. He is not as tall as some, but he has the weight and the bone density second to just one other.

Thank you for admiring my bull. He and his brother are my pride and joy.

Adam

The Tibetan Yak was called Lo, he was broke to ride and sold to a local family who is going to use him in parades. He was the last Yak I had, but I definitely miss him.

He and his brother are both extremely docile, however, being bulls they DO have their moments which is why we never handle them without full headchains in place, even here on the farm. I have never EVER had any problems from either bull, but due to their size they have caused some damage accidentally. I've had gates and pipe-panel fencing knocked over and wooden posts broken like matchsticks when the boys rub their butts, shoulders or necks.

I apologize for taking so long to reply to your email through Rollanet, however I did reply there before searching for this forum. Thank you for letting me know my bull was being spoke of here.
