Cathy, that's great to hear. I've read a lot of material on the subject. A lot of people are going back to this method. The big corporate farms went to grain because the cows get bigger faster and produce lots of milk, but for us to benefit from the cows product they need pasture and hay. Of course I only speak from reading and talking to a few farmers at this point. It also is cheaper to keep them this way. I do respect other people's choice to do it their way, after all they do have the right, and I do too. There appears to be several people on here that subscribe to this method also.
