I can tell you from experience that the pinkeye vacine is not totally effective, in fact I have more pinkeye in the pasture where calves were all vaccinated than I do in the pasture with no treatment.

this bull calf was vaccinated for pink eye about a month before coming down with it. Pink eye is so rampant around here this year who knows whether it is an effective vaccine. I know in this calf it wasn't.

BTW, He's doing well. The eye is clearing up and he's feeling fine.

The neighbors are still fighting it.
