Short little guys & how they manage
Friend related a similar story about a pet shetland stud and the neighbors quarter horses. I did not really believe him until one day I had an old mare in heat and no stud anywhere near other than a friend's little pony.
Stood the mare in a ravine and led the pony up behind her. He jumped up there, kept his hind legs on the edge of the gulley and did the job before he fell off. So help me I'll swear I never saw a more satisfied looking mare. My wife saw the whole thing and just shook her head.
