Finally got the girls home today. Mark is becoming a logistics king with the auction and farm move. Our cattle hauler friend was coming to get 3 culls and a steer that aren't going to Kansas. We had him pick up our girls on the way out to our place. When he got here swapped animals. We put on a couple of bull calves as well. One went to our friends (who live 75 miles away) to raise as a breeding bull and the other went to the cattle hauler for helping us out pick up and deliver animals.

VERY PRETTY! I am envious. Really good shots like these make you almost forget what it looks like in January. They are having a dispersal in NE IA of a Kansas herd of swiss, shortys, and mix. All Breed access.com has a catalog, Norm Magnsum is managing it. I plan to work the sale part of the time.

Saving grace- decide on your goals . Do you want to show or milk or both. Very few index (high JPI or net merit) animals show, as few show animals have high net merits or JPI. If you are showing Jade really is the best, and Iatolla, Rebel, militia are good jpi bulls with sound type.
