Yeah.... I know market time is a very bad time for me. Last Wednesday he was sheduled to go and the entire herd went to visit the green grass on the other side of the fence. Was after 4 when I found them and way too late for market. I know she should be dried up and given a chance to regain weight. But it will be hard for her to not have Shorty around. I took Karma's calf a few weeks ago and she hasn't forgotten... Karma lost weight; Abby doesn't have much to lose. Wednesday is coming again this week.... BTW, this afternoon I noticed Abby's udder was fuller than it has been since January.
