Amount of Grain Question

Ribroast, shown here at 2 months old eating hay with his mom, was trying to eat it by the end of his first week, as did his older brother that we're eating now. We think he's looking pretty good for a young steer that's 2.5 months old...





This one tries to eat COB, but only takes a little bit before he tires of trying.

Thank you, Rockin B. Don't know why pix are turning out so fuzzy, except for the middle one, also taken yesterday, that was shot from further away and cropped.

Walked him today and he's doing pretty well with that. Hates to be handled, petted. tho'. He's real skittish. Any suggestions?

Put the measuring/weight tape on him and it shows 47 inches, about 329#, meaning he's gaining 3.5# per day. [Jul 10, 65# at birth.]

Found that his halter again needed enlarging. Perhaps that had something to do with his struggle to eat his grain?
